Located just 20 minutes northeast of Tonasket and 20 minutes east of Oroville on Havillah Road,Sitzmark Ski Area offers dry powder snow, lots of sunshine, great views, small lift lines, and best of all LOW TICKET PRICES. Our ski area has one double chair, a rope tow and bunny hill, and a terrain park. With 80 acres of skiable terrain for the beginner to most experienced skier/boarder, the base elevation of 4300 feet and top at 4,950 feet, one can ski more miles a day due to verry minimal lift lines.
Our ski season starts in late December and lasts into mid-March as snow conditions permit. Our ski school program offering skiing and boarding start in mid-January and lasts 5 weeks. Our lodge houses a lunch counter, patrol room, large eating area for both brown bag and purchased lunches with a large fireplace on one end and a warming stove on the other with great vies of the slopes. The Rental Hut located next to the lodge, offers alpine, nordic, snowboard, snowshoe rentals, repairs, and sales.
Our operating hours are from 10am to 4pm, THURSDAYS, SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND MAJOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
Come as a family up to the hill skier/boarder or not. You'll enjoy watching everyone on the slopes and bring your computer as there is WYFI available for you to enjoy in the lodge near the fireplace while other are on the hill. The countryside is sooooo beautiful on sunny days (and there are many) that you may just want to drive around and enjoy the relaxing peace of wide open countryside dotted with trees and friendly farms. You may also get to see some winter wildlife like moose, deer, elk, and birds.

opening has been delayed. The ski area will not open tomorrow, Monday the 21st. Ski School sessions have been bumped
back one more week and will hopefully begin Jan 26. We are checking the snow level daily and will
update you as we gather the information.
